What is UV Printing?

UV Printing is a unique method of digital printing utilizing unraviolet (UV) light to dry or cure ink. It dries immediately. Once it is printed the canvas is colorfast and will not run during blocking or finishing.

The canvases are printed from a digital image which can be customized and our printer can print up to 24" x 36" in size.

In UV printing, LED lights are used for curing instead of heat. The specially designed high intensity UV light closely follows as the special ink is distributed on the canvas, drying it as soon as it is applied. Because the ink transforms from a solid paste to a liquid immediately, there is no chance for it to evaporate and no VOCs, toxic fumes or ozone are released. This makes the process environmentally friendly with almost zero carbon footprint.
